Timothy Roy Binion, 49, of Lakeland, passed away Monday, September, 6, 2010, at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born May 25, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii, a son of Roy Binion, Jr. and Karen Laverne Wade Binion Wallace. Timmy is survived by his wife, Sheila Ann Barfield Binion of Lakeland; one son, Timmy Joe Binion and wife Natasha of Naylor; two step-daughters, Kristie Marie Daugharty and husband Richard of El Paso, TX, and Jennifer Lynn Gregory and husband Lonnie Gene of Berrien County; eight grandchildren; his mother, Karen Laverne Wallace of Valdosta; brother, Robert Wade Binion of Valdosta; sister, Judy Simpson and husband Bert of Lakeland; brother, Steve Binion of Valdosta; brother, David Wallace and wife Jennifer of Goose Creek, SC; two step-sisters, Sandra Lynn Thompson and husband Kenneth, and Patricia Gayle Wallace; one step-brother, Jimmy Robert Wallace, all of Fort Wayne, IN; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his former wife and mother of his son, Sherrie Jo Luke. He was predeceased by his father, Roy Binion, Jr., a brother, Richard William Binion, and his step-father, James E. Wallace. Funeral Services for Timmy will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 11, 2010 in the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home of Valdosta, with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Berlin. His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
