I first met Tim in 1990 when I was a new hire Brakeman on Conrail at the Oak Island/Newark NJ Yard Office. I was fortunate to work with him on and off over the next 5 years. He was always safe and professional, getting the job done but still looking out for His Crew's best interest. I learned a lot from him and it was an honor to have met him. I have a favorite memory of Tim stopping his train in front of my house in Alpha and giving him and his Conductor a Care Package for the run west. I am truely sorry for your loss. I am so very sorry for your loss!!! Tim was a wonderful and caring man. I went to school with him in Sparta through Elementary and High School. He will be sorely missed!!!

My Deepest Condolences to the Conlon Family. I have Known Tim Since he had started on ConRail. I worked with him when I was a Yardmaster for ConRail in Oak Island Newark,NJ and also who I was a Train Master for Norfolk Southern. May He Rest in Peace God Bless. Prayers Sent.
