Timothy C. Coverdale

Timothy Cornealious Coverdale, 32, of Canton, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy in Canton, from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle. Born July 16, 1993 in Dover, Ohio, he was a son of Debra Kay (Sanders) LeMonte and her husband, Tim, of Uhrichsville, Ohio and Timothy Joseph Coverdale and his wife, Jill Devine, of New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Tim grew up in the Twin City area and was a graduate of Claymont High School and Buckeye Career Center in 2013. He had been employed by the New Philadelphia Walmart prior to his current job at Paarlo Plastics in Canton. In his free time, he was an avid gamer.

He leaves behind his girlfriend, Katrina Chapman, and their expected child; sister, Clarissa (companion, Ronald Cobb) Coverdale; brother, Nathaniel Coverdale; half-sister, Sabrina Coverdale; grandmothers, Shirley Sanders and Gloria Coverdale; and a large extended family including many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his parents. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Walter Sanders and Thomas Coverdale, and stepsister, Tia Devine.

Pastor Brett Warkentine will officiate a 1:00 p.m. funeral on Friday, November 7, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison, Ohio where his family will receive callers from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his family to help defray the cost of his final expenses.
