I send my condolences to Chris' wife and children, his mother and sisters. Recently, I had the opportunity to talk with him some weeks before his leaving us to be with God. Chris had this sound dialogue. He had this quiet peace, focused and discerning spirit, a kingdom of God man. We talked briefly about family and the job, but what stuck out most was his relationship with God. He told me he carried his Bible everywhere he went on the road and read it often. In that brief conversation, he said a lot about the Kingdom man he desired to be. Focused on his family, and learning how to operate and function in God's Kingdom. Some good and some challenging but was determined to stay consistent and to keep his eyes on God. I am pleased to call him family. I thank God for his time with us. I close with the scripture from Matthew 4:17 KJV, From that time Jesus began to preach, Repent (which means in Greek, to change one's mind) for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, in the Greek, means exist, it is here. Amen. Praise God. God bless his family.
