It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father Timothy Patrick Donahue on Thursday evening September 7, 2023. Son of the late Mary Emma Donahue and Patrick Augustine Donahue. He was the second youngest to siblings Patricia Wathen, Joseph Edward Donahue, Emily Deford, Fidelma Donahue, Mark Donahue and predeceased by siblings David Donahue and Sheila Donahue. He was a loving father to Amy, Sheila, Nicole, and Kathryn; he adored his 6 grandsons Marcello, Cole, Brody, Griffin, Hayden, Quade, and QST granddaughter Eleanor. He dedicated his life to his family and loving his late wife Dorothy Mary Donahue. We will truly never be able to fill the void of your absence and you will be missed so much by many family and friends daily. We love you dad, always and forever, give mom a hug from all of us. Rest in Peace. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, September 15 from 3:00 until 8:00 PM at Gibbons family Funeral Home 5917 W. Irving Park Rd. (1/2 Block East of Austin). Interment Private. I was a pledge and Tim was an upper classmen when we both were attending the Illinois Institute of Technology. I remember Tim as a reserved but just "Big Brother" in our Fraternity at IIT. As I recall, he came from a farming family in Illinois, I'm very sad to hear of his passing. Condolences go out to his family. Regards, Charles Hoyenski Rho Delta Rho Chapter, of Tau Epsilon Phi at IIT.
