Timothy Lee Flermoen of Columbia Heights, MN passed away in his home on June 19th at the age of 68. Timothy was born in Fosston, MN. He was the middle child of Joyce Flermoen and Kenneth Flermoen. Tim married his wife Dawn in 1981 and raised 3 sons (Kenneth, Daniel, Donald). Tim enjoyed sports like softball, baseball, bowling, and football. He loved watching his sons play baseball well into their adult years. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, camping, and fishing. Most of all, Tim loved spending time with his Grandchildren. Tim worked for McGough Construction for 25 years, a long-standing member of the union and retired at the age of 55, he finished his career as a school bus driver. He spent a lot of his retirement with his wife, family, and friends around a campfire in their backyard or at a campground. Tim was preceded in death by his parents (Joyce and Kenneth), brother-in-law (Stanley III), sister-in-law (Tracy), his father-in-law (Stanley Jr), grandparents, aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife Dawn, his sons: Kenneth (Nikki), Daniel, Donald (Malissa), brothers Mike and Keith, sisters Vicki (Guy) and Val, brother-in-laws Joe (Julie) and Bob (Lisa), sister-in-law Ann (Jim), and brother-in-law Dave. Tim has 28 Nephews and Nieces, and 8 Grandchildren. Tim was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and friend. He showed his love through quality time and witty jokes. Tim will be remembered as a man who cared for and loved his family. He will be missed, but we will meet him again in heaven.
