Timothy Frye Obituary
Tim was born June 26, 1956 in Conway, a son of Bobby Hershel James and Shelby Jean "Doodle" Frye James.
Tim was predeceased by his mother Shelby Jean James, his mama/grandmother Virgie Frye who was the keeper of his heart, his grandfather Howard Frye, his sister Rita James, his brothers Steven James and Bobby (Shel) James, his Uncle Charle Frye and Aunt Kay Frye that he considered second parents and his Aunt Hazel Richardson and two special brother-in-laws: Jerry Griffin and William Crafton.
Tim is survived by his life partner of 38 years and wife: Donna Christmas Frye, a son: Brandon Christmas, nephew/son: Myles "Spanky" Griffin and niece/daughter: Chelsea Griffin. Grandchildren: Aiden Christmas, Stella Martin and Jayce Martin, his father Bobby Hershel James,
Sisters: Rhonda Calcutt (Andy) and Stacey Howle (Danny), two sister-in-laws Melba Crafton and Theresa Lopez. Nieces: Lori, Kathryn (Miss Kitty), Sarah, Angel, Alisha, Amber and Julia. Nephews: Gabriel, Austin and Lucas, two cousins Mitchell Frye and Beth Harrelson he considered siblings.
Tim also leaves behind cousins he so loved growing up with Sabrina, Regina, Lisa, Johnny, Webby, Jeff, Shelley and many specials friends throughout Galivants Ferry and Myrtle Beach.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00pm Friday, December 26, 2025 at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm till 2:00pm at the graveside.

Dear Donna, and family, Bill and I are so saddened and sorry to hear about Tim's passing.
He was a wizard with wood: our deck, dock, stairs and walkway could have been photographed for a magazine, they were so well made. In addition, he was a hard worker who still found time to stop for a chat, which always brought a lot of laughrter.
We so appreciate his (and Gerry's) help over the last 18 years.
