My first memory of Tim was also one of the luckiest days of my life, this is no exaggeration. I was still active duty US Navy and planning for my retirement by attending HVAC School. I was home for a long weekend and my AC failed...I needed a part unavailable at a local store and was looking at my options. We had an invoice from A/C Doctors (they having serviced the units while I was out to sea) and my wife told me Tim was a former Marine and a real nice guy so try giving him a call. As it turns out he and Susan were out on the lake but told me they would meet me in an hour to help me out. Not only did I get the part I needed but was also offered a job on the spot!
Further discussion with Tim led to a suggestion that I could purchase A/C Doctors from him once I got qualified!! There I was, still active duty, but with the assurance of a job and an opportunity to buy a successful business!!...as I said, one of the luckiest days of my life! But there's more. Following that weekend I returned to base and approached my chain of command with an official request to retire and quickly learned that I was at day 1 of a 90 day window to make everything work...I still can't believe how this all came together in 2005. I am so grateful to both Tim and Susan for the opportunity I was given. Rest in Peace Brother!, and thank you for believing in me.
