Tim, a most special person, mentor, friend, administrator, boss, leader, where do the superlatives end, I don´t know. He was a hero to me and I respected him greatly. A "for sure" part of my life and losing him will leave an empty spot that won´t be filled for me and countless others as Tim was special to so many.

Tim always carried out his duties in the various roles I knew him professionally with warmth, humor and the mindset of putting students needs first. He was a first class educator and one many looked up to. His legacy with Volusia County Schools will long be remembered.

I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of Tim Huth a friend, a leader and a true gentleman. My sincere condolences are extended to his family during this difficult time that they are experiencing. My life as a teacher, principal and district level employee was influenced on numerous occasions by Tim Huth. Each and every time he was kind, truthful, patient and helpful beyond belief! Above all else he was my Friend!

My condolences to the family and friends of "Coach Huth" as he graduates this life with honors! He always had a smile and warm greeting whether in the halls of MHS, at the pool or on the courts, and had a positive on so many which is, a life well lived.

My heart is saddened by the news of Coach Huth´s passing. I remember him as my swim coach as a kid but even better was meeting back up with him as an adult. We enjoyed talking about educational issues and my husband and I were looking forward to many more chances to be together since we are officially snowbirds! I am joyful that I was blessed to have Coach Huth touch my life over these many years! A heartfelt hug and sincerest sympathy to Char and the family during this very sad time. Tim was a special person in my life and career. We worked together in the Volusia County School System. He was the District Superintendent and I was an Area Superintendent for the school system. He was my mentor and great friend. Loved this man!! Till we meet again, Bobby Menendez aka Shakespeare

I first met Mr. Huth when I was a student at MHS. Mr. Huth became our AP while I was teaching at HHJH. When I entered the Educational Leadership, Mr. Huth became my mentor. We were all happy to have Mr. Huth as our Principal, and were sad to see him move to Mainland to lead there. When I became a Principal, Mr. Huth was leading from the District Office. What a great man. Mr. Huth was always positive and led by example. RIP

Mr. Huth, the world is less bright without you here. I can't thank you enough for saving my life. You believed in me and saw things in me that even I couldn't see. You gave me a chance to leave behind a life I shouldn't have been a part of and you believed in me enough to push me towards a life you knew I needed. You've always been my hero and I wish I would have had the chance to tell you just how much you affected my life. Your family will always be in my prayers as will you. Rest easy and know that you left behind a beautiful legacy. Thank you for everything.

Every time I was able to hang out with Tim was a time filled with great conversations and laughs. He was the epitome of genuine. Great man.

You saved my life, literally and metaphorically. You will forever be the greatest man God ever breathed life into, and our hearts will forever be missing a piece because it will be in Heaven with you. I know the blessings that awaited you were many, as you have been a blessing for every person you come in contact with. You will forever be the father God brought me when I most desperately needed one, and not a day will go by that I will not miss you and think of you. All of my love to Char, TJ, Heidi, Joey and Minh. May God bless and keep them always.

The loss of a man as special and influential as Mr. Huth touches countless lives. He made every encounter special by his memory, guidance and support. His legacy lives on in all of those who had the opportunity to develop into the individuals he knew we could be. May we all carry on as he taught us. To his family - thank you for sharing him with us all of these years. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Coach Huths passing. My heart is so broken for the family. Coach Huth was such an amazing person, with a heart of gold. His smile was contagious.
