Mr. Timothy Wayne Hutson, age 66, passed away on Thursday evening, March 5, 2026, at the Mcleod Hospice House in Florence, South Carolina. No services are planned for at this time.
Born on April 27, 1959, in Cheraw, South Carolina, Mr. Hutson was a son of the late Robert Glenard and Mary Alice Driggers Hutson. He had a passion for hunting and was an avid football fan, faithfully supporting his favorite teams, the Minnesota Vikings and the Gamecocks. Mr. Hutson received an Associates Degree and went on to dedicate over 12 years of service to Crown Cork & Seal.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hutson was preceded in death by his sisters, Brenda Watts and Pamela Poates.
Mr. Hutson is survived by his devoted wife, Renee Davis Hutson, of the home; children, Mary Elizabeth Hutson, Brock Hutson and Sydney Hutson; siblings, Kay (Ronnie Harrington) Bedenbaugh, Robert “Bobby” (Lynn) Hutson, Ricky (Debbie) Hutson, and Sharon (Pete) Criminger; nieces and nephews, Trey Hutson, Kristen Hutson, Ben Hutson, Bryant Hutson, Leah Poates, Scott Bedenbaugh, Alicia Baker, Lauren Hodges; in addition to numerous great nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mcleod Regional Medical Center and Mcleod Hospice House of Florence for their compassionate care during Mr. Hutson's final days.
