West Gardiner- Timothy R. Lake, 25, died on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
Timothy was born in Mineola, NY on May 19, 1999, the son of Kevin P. Sr. and Christine (Riebe) Lake. He attended schools in Long Island, NY and graduated from St. William the Abbot in Seaford NY, Seaford HS, Nassau Community College and graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine at Orono with Honors.
Timothy moved to Maine from Wantagh, NY with his family a few years ago. He loved exploring the beauty of the State of Maine. Only here for a short time, Tim made many friends and lasting friendships. He loved the time he was surrounded by his family. He enjoyed playing hockey and played all through his youth and high school. After graduating from high school, he played on a roller and ice hockey team. He was an avid sports fan and especially rooted for the New York Islanders, Buffalo Bills and New York Mets. He loved his pets and got great comfort from them.
Timothy is survived by his parents, Kevin Sr. and Christine Lake of W. Gardiner; a brother, Kevin Lake Jr. of W. Gardiner, many loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours celebrating Timothy's life will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner, ME. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, December 6, 2024, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 110 School Street, Gardiner, ME.

Tim and i were in elementary school together, it has been a long time from them but i never had a problem with him, i would smile and wave to him when i could! Tim and i were also in a Highschool class with me where i was the only girl, i was a bit of a floater so i would talk to everyone but tim and i would crack some jokes here and there, tim was a very nice and kind kid he will be missed :(
