I am so sorry to hear of Tim's passing. While I only know Tim from working with him for the last few years, he was always kind and generous with his time. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends. May his memory always be a blessing.

My deepest sympathy's to the entire Leahy Family, Tim was one of the best.

Tim and I went back almost 30 years through a work relationship that took a unique turn in 2001. A very fond memory of Tim was when we were are at a meeting together in Salt Lake City preparing for the 2002 Olympics when the events of 9/11 unfolded. We ended up driving back to Chicago on the 12th and our car with Tim, Dave, Rose and Karen and myself, left at noon that day for a 24 hour drive straight through to Chicago. Tim had gone out and bought trivia games snacks comics and magazines to keep us occupied and alert while we drove back. And while over the years jobs changed and locations changed, we have always connected on 9/11, as we did again this year, just to touch base and check in with each other. I will miss the check-in next year but will, god willing, still raise a toast to my friend who helped me and others get through a difficult time.

God Speed Tim!

I am very saddened to learn of Tim's passing and extend my deepest sympathy to Rory and the Leahy family. Tim was a good friend and I will never forget when he drove us to Champaign to watch his beloved Illini and my beloved Hoosiers play basketball a decade ago. When Tim was at Group 2 and I was at McD's, we worked on several projects together and would meet 4-5 times each year for breakfast. We continued this after I retired and I always looked forward to these occasions, especially when Tim bought breakfast after losing our Illinois vs. Indiana bets. Tim was a positive force and I will miss our breakfasts, our annual holiday dinner (with Tom V.) and the good-natured banter in our texts. I will continue praying for the Leahy family.

I am sorry for your loss. Tim had great positive energy about him and it was infectious. We would often have breakfast to talk about work and discuss how we may be able to partner on different projects. We would talk about our families, basketball, and other topics and finally get to work. I would leave every bfast w/ him happier and more energized. I will pray for him and your family.
