Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm followed by a prayer service with Franklin County Chaplin Dick Bolster officiating. Tim was born on January 22, 1964 to Clayton and Virma (Rockhill) Manson in
Malone, New York. He graduated from Franklin Academy in 1982. One evening, while picking up friends on his way to a concert, he met Molly-Jean Maither. It was love at first sight. One month later, they were dating and after fifteen more months, they were married in Rockburn, Quebec. They were wed on October 15, 1983, which is the same anniversary date of Tim's parents and grandparents. Together, they bought the Manson family farm in Constable from Tim's parents. They welcomed four children; Megan-Jean, Kate-Lynn, Jessica-Anne, and Thomas C.R. Tim and Molly made the decision to sell the dairy farm after Tim went to work for Franklin County Sheriff's Department as a Correctional Officer of which he was recently honored for 25 years of service.
Tim lived a very full life. When Tim was not working at the jail he could be found out in the woods hunting, enjoying antique tractor pulls, and working on his tractors, watching YouTube videos of farming, snowmobiling, and motorcycling. Tim was a member of the River Valley Antique Tractor Club. He was the secretary for the Constable Republican Committee. He and Molly spent their later years rescuing many dogs and giving them a loving forever home with their family.
Tim is survived by the love of his life, Molly-Jean, his mother Virma Manson of Malone. He is predeceased by his father Clayton Manson. He is loved by his children; Megan-Jean (William Schlott) Manson of Morrisonville, Kate-Lynn (Matthew) Woodhouse of Waterloo, Jessica-Anne (Daniel Taylor) Manson of North Syracuse, and Thomas C.R. Manson of Constable, his sister and brother-in-law Bonnie and Donald Gravell of Westville, along with their two sons; Donald Jr. and Peter, and a great many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also the Grampy to a litter of grand furkids.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the following organizations: the Autism Alliance of Northeastern NY (www.aaneny.org) and to the Northeastern NY Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
