Timothy Delane Marlow, age 64, of Buhl, Ala., passed away November 17, 2025, in Tuscaloosa. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, at Pate Cemetery with Bro. Keith Crowley, Bro. David Kelly, and C. W. Booth officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Cook; grandparents, Roy Pate, Floy Pate, Hattie O’Hanlon, and Lonnie Marlow; brothers, Ronald Keith Marlow, and Mike Marlow; niece, Jennifer Marlow; and dog, Bama.
Survivors include his sons, Timothy Brian Marlow (Christy Penny), and Jeremy Delane Marlow (Sharen); sisters, Diane White, and Donna Johnson; father, Tillman Marlow; and grandchildren, Elizabeth Marlow, Hayven Grace Marlow, Jerren Marlow, Sharlotte Marlow, and Tasimi Marlow.
Tim was first and foremost a father, preacher, and friend. He loved to socialize and sing to pass to the time. Tim was a steel worker, and a CEO of a security company, and a preacher for a time. He always used to say “Son, turn your phone up. It could be important,” and “Don’t let grass grow under your feet.” Though he could be stubborn and set in his way; he always made sure you knew he loved you. He will be missed more than he’ll ever know, and his words and sermons will forever echo in our thoughts.
Pallbearers will be C. W. Booth, Allen Cunningham, Brad Booth, Shawn Booth, Joel Crawford, and Dustin Barton.
