Timothy McMichael Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A. - Westminster on Mar. 3, 2026.
Timothy Norman McMichael, 59, passed away on the morning of Monday, March 2, 2026. Born on October 20, 1966, Tim was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 35 years, Terri. He was a proud and deeply cherished father to his three children, Mark McMichael, Allison McMichael-Dull, and Raven McMichael. Known affectionately as an unforgettable and "infamous" grandfather, he brought endless joy and laughter to his three grandsons, Sawyer, Landon, and Cyrus.

Tim is also survived by his mother, Louanna Newton; his father, Charles "Stu" McMichael; his stepmother, Lucinda Crabtree; his sister, Lisa Marvel; and his brother, Patrick McMichael. His family was the center of his world, and he loved them with steady strength and quiet devotion.

A devoted follower of Christ, Tim was a dedicated member of Westminster Baptist Church, where he faithfully served as Lead Deacon for more than 20 years. He was known for his kindness, his steady words of wisdom, and his consistent acts of service. Tim traveled on mission trips and found deep purpose in lending his hands and heart to those in need, both near and far.

Tim felt most at home outdoors. An avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener, he believed strongly in being a good steward of the land. He was a lifelong learner who enjoyed reading historical nonfiction and biographies. He also cherished traveling the world with his wife, family, and friends, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.

Tim will be deeply missed by those who loved him most and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A viewing will be held at Westminster Baptist Church in Westminster, Maryland, on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and a time of community from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

Flowers are welcome. For those who wish, donations may be made in Tim's honor to Westminster Baptist Church.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness." - Galatians 5:22
