Timothy N. Meloy, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Born on December 10, 1968 in Killeen, Texas, Tim was the son of Neal Meloy and Cindy (Rosebrook) Wennerstrom. He would attend grade school in Pierceton, Indiana before attending LaVille High School in 9th grade. He loved baseball and football and graduated with the class of 1987.
Tim worked in the RV industry since he was 18 and worked his way up to assistant plant manager for Thor Motor Coach in Wakarusa. From 1995-2017, he also served as a volunteer on the Pierceton and Warsaw Fire Departments, driving for EMS, as well as a reserve on the Winona and Warsaw Police Departments.
Meeting through family friends, Tim met Janet L. Valentine and the two married in Pierceton on March 20, 1993 and joined their families into one loving household. He was a loving father to his kids and showed them a hard work ethic and to live life by the Golden Rule. Tim was stern and forgiving, and gave great advice to lead you down the right path. He was smart, onery for sure and loved by all who knew him.
Tim was a man of many talents. He was a fantastic cook and was skilled in carpentry and construction, building his family’s home from the ground up. He loved shooting, fishing and hunting with his black lab Zeke. He was obsessed with Big Foot and never missed a show on T.V., but was also a movie, T.V. and music/artist buff. The couple enjoyed many mini getaways, traveling to every state east of the Mississippi River.
He is deeply missed by his wife, Jan, of Pierceton, and their children: Caryn Meloy of Argos, Andrew Meloy of Pierceton, Amanda (Josh) Brown of Warsaw, and Adam (Terra) Sellers of Hoffman Lake; 9 grandchildren: Megan, Kaitlyn, Breanna, Sedda, Sunny, Lilli, Emilee, Ivy and Harleigh; 3 great-grandchildren: Kirsten, Kaydin and William; father, Neal (Erna) Meloy of Crystal Lake and mother, Cindy Wennerstrom of Plymouth; siblings: Tracy Meloy of Argos and Terika (Richie) Dickson of Plymouth along with many nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his grandson, Grayson.
