Timothy Nimmo Obituary
Timothy earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Wheaton College. Following college, he served his country in the United States Navy, where he learned to fly aircrafts and served during the Vietnam War. He went on to enjoy a career in aviation, working for many years as an Airline Captain with World Airways. Above all else, Timothy was a man of Faith. He was known for his generous spirit, his love for his family, and his ability to treat everyone he met as a friend.
He is survived by his loving son, Joshua Nimmo (Sarah Parnass); his granddaughter, Chloe Parmo; his former wife, Naomi Nimmo; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; as well as his siblings: Patricia Doty, Andrew Nimmo, and Ridley Nimmo.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2pm to 4pm at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483.
