Timothy Peace Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory - Brownsville on Mar. 4, 2026.
In Loving Memory of Timothy Scott Maclaren Peace
Timothy Scott Maclaren Peace, born September 16, 1970, in Alpine, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Timothy made his home in Brownsville, Texas, where he built a life rooted in Christ, dedication to his family and service to his community. He proudly worked for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), serving with commitment and integrity. His work ethic and sense of duty were a reflection of the man he was steadfast, dependable, and strong.
Timothy loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He leaves behind a legacy that will honor & love God for generations. He is survived by his loving wife, Ambar; his children, Felicia, Nathan, Ian, and Amber; and his cherished grandchildren, Saint and Norway, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Marcus; his mother, Catalina; and his brother, Johnathan. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry, and his first wife, Anel Peace.
Timothy found purpose in serving God with his family in his local church, living out his faith through both worship and sacrifice. He enjoyed running, watching Dallas Cowboys games, walks on the beach, and most of all, spending precious time with his grandchildren. Whether he was cheering on his favorite team or worshiping the Lord with his family, he was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.
Those who knew Timothy will remember his strong faith, his compassion, his resilience, his selflessness, his serving heart and his unwavering love for his family. Helping those in need was an integral part of his character. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, friends, and in the people, he touched through his service and kindness.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. His impact was far greater than he ever realized. It cannot be measured in words, only in the lives he changed. He finished his race well, and his legacy runs on.

I met Timothy in Oaxaca, México in 80´s decade. We were just kids. I remember him and their parents. My deepest condolences to all the family and especially Jonathan.

Tim's children said it best. A legacy is the lasting impact of our life, encompassing the values, memories, and influence you leave on people. It is built daily through kindness, character, and actions. Tim did this and left us a lasting impact, he passed on his values, memories and influence to us.

Gone too soon. Peace had a big heart. He was a team player, and he was easy to get along with. He was a dedicated co-worker who had integrity and took pride in his work.
It was evident he loved God and his family. He will be missed. Condolences to the family.
