Timothy Ryan Peterson, our fun-loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, was welcomed into his Heavenly home on Friday, June 30, 2023, after a brave fight with early-onset Alzheimer's, surrounded by his wife and three children. Tim was born March 28, 1967, in Fairfax, VA, to Gerald (Jerry) Eugene Peterson and Donna Glunz Peterson. He is the youngest of 5 children and grew up in Manalapan, NJ. Tim married the love of his life, Jill Christiansen, on February 3, 1996. They were later sealed in the Orlando Temple for time and all eternity. Tim and Jill went on to have three beautiful children: Logan, Noah, and Caleb.
Although a Jersey boy, Tim bled Nebraska scarlet and cream. Regardless of the score, Tim's never quit attitude always came through cheering for his team. Tim, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, loved serving his fellow man and teaching his children the importance of service. He was the first to volunteer to replace a roof, help someone move, clean up for a natural disaster, or stop traffic to assist a turtle across the road.
Tim was a true outdoorsman, always looking for the next adventure in fishing, camping, snorkeling, tubing, biking, and flying stunt kites. He was happiest sharing his adventures with his wife and children regardless of the temperature or challenge. A true kid at heart, Tim loved teaching how to find the excitement in the simplest of activities, from throwing a frisbee to racing paper airplanes with his children. In Tim's heart, being a husband and father was his most remarkable adventure, rewarding him with hours of laughter and love shared with his wife and children.
Tim is survived by his wife, Jill; daughter, Logan Taylor Peterson; and two sons, Noah Ryan Peterson and Caleb Ryan Peterson; his mother, Donna Ann Peterson; his brothers, David (Lisa) Peterson and Joe (Patty) Peterson; his sisters, Lisa Peterson Hogan and Lori (Babe) Pituk; many extended family and friends. His father, Gerald (Jerry) Peterson, preceded him in death.
Services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse at 900 E 2850 N, North Ogden, UT 84414.
Viewing from 10:00 am to 10:45 am

Interment will follow at Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E 2850 N, North Ogden, UT 84414
