In Loving Memory of Timothy Lamont Phillips Sr.
05/13/1976 – 06/18/2025
With hearts full of gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, son and friend , Timothy Lamont Phillips Sr. Born in Savannah, Ga roots in Augusta, Georgia. Timothy exemplified service, discipline, humor, and unwavering faith. He earned the rare rank of Eagle Scout—a distinction he carried proudly throughout life and passed on to his children. Timothy devoted himself to family and community. His Sundays began with church, where he ushered his sleepy children out of bed with a grin and a gentle reminder that “we don’t just think of ourselves—we show up for others.” He lived those words daily, cheering the loudest at school events and modeling the values of kindness, independence, and leadership.
He is survived by his mother who he loved so dearly, Marjorie Phillips; his loving children, Timothy Phillips Jr. , Tania Phillips , Cameron Hodges , Raekwon Henry; his loving wife, Cherry Henry and a host of relatives and friends who will forever cherish his quick wit, booming laughter, and steadfast moral compass.
