Timothy Rier Obituary
Timothy "Tim" William Rier, age 68, of Olive Branch, MS, died on Feb. 17, 2026, after a lengthy illness.
Time was born in Memphis, TN, on Apr. 16, 1957, to Robert James Rier Sr and Virginia McGuire, both deceased.
Tim is survived by two daughters, Crystal Eileen Savage and Lisa Aimee Kirsten Rier (their mother, Susan Akins, deceased) and a son, Nicolas "Nic" Everett Rier (mother, Teresa L. Owen). His four grandchildren: Audrey Savage, Mia Savage, Mason (Rier) Cooper, and Avery Estelle Dees and one great grandchild, Corrina (Kutz). Tim's three siblings: two brothers, Robert "Rob" J. Rier Jr (wife, Jamie), Richard S. Rier, deceased, and a sister, Pam Dunn (husband, Harrison).
Tim was an HVAC residential and commercial wizard! He worked for Walker J. Walker Industrial Cooling for many, many years. He was constantly keeping the neighbors' and his family's units up and running. Also, Tim so enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and following the Dallas Cowboys.
His two main passions since youth were playing his guitars and maintaining and riding his motorcycles.
Tim will be missed by many.
