Timothy M. Speelman, 36, of Columbus and formerly of Canton, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Tim was born on December 9, 1974 in Canton. He was a 1993 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Tim has been employed with J.P. Morgan Chase for the past 3 years, currently as operations manager. Tim loved camping, fishing, and hiking at Hocking Hills and Mohican with his family. He enjoyed golfing, watching baseball and was an avid sports fan, including the Browns, Indians, OSU Buckeyes and Clippers. Tim loved life and found humor in every situation. He will be remembered for being generous, loyal, gracious, positive and kindly honest. Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Stacey; parents, Timothy and Patricia Speelman; sisters, Kelly (Ty Pruett) and Susan (Bob Taylor) Reigle; brother, John (Jessica) Speelman; nieces and nephews, Erin, Mike, Morgan, James, Dimitri, Destiny, Caitlyn, and Connor; mother-in-law, Janet Tordolino; father-in-law, William Gooding; many aunts, uncles and cousins; his special friends from his childhood at St. Joan of Arc and Central Catholic; and his faithful dog, Dexter. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 11am in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Dale Tornes as Celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 4-8pm in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel, 705 Raff Rd SW Canton, OH 44710. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to YMCA of Central Ohio, 2879 Valleyview Dr. Columbus, OH 43204 or to Ohio State Parks Legacy Foundation, PO Box 295 Norwalk, OH 44857.
