Timothy Douglas "Doug" Thomas

Timothy "Doug" Douglas Thomas, age 57, was born on February 21, 1968, to Sophia H. Thomas and J.C. Thomas in Wilburn, Georgia. Doug gained his wings on Monday, January 5, 2026, in Pinehurst, Texas.
Doug was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He leaves behind a large and loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his children, Timothy Thomas and Chloe Thomas; his grandchildren, August and Octavia; and his stepdaughters, Kirsty Hillenburg and her son Charles Hillenburg, and Dawnyale Littlejohn and her husband Eric, along with their five children.
Doug is also survived by his loving mother, Sophia H. Thomas; his sister, Jackolyn Bartlett, and her husband Alan Bartlett, and their children Kimberley and Jason Bartlett; his brother, Billy Joe King, and wife Debbie King, and his children David, Christy, and Amy King; and his brother, Jeff King, and wife Michelle King, along with their children Tabatha, Jeffery, and Melissa King. He is further survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and extended family members.
Doug was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Thomas; his grandmother, Stanislawa Hemozkiy; his granddaughter, Brionna Kern; his sister-in-law, Shelia King; and his uncles, Val and George Hemozkiy.
Doug will be remembered for his love of family, his strength, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who loved him.
