Timothy Scott Weber was born February 28, 1950 and passed on February 23, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 74.
Tim is survived by his 2 daughters Kate Kent, son-in-law Michael, and Molly Rowan, son-in-law Chris; grandchildren Sanders, Charlotte, Wyatt and Hayes; siblings Laurie Harris, husband Don; Todd Weber, wife Leslie; and Jill Arnold, husband Rusty; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents Walter (Jim) Weber and Ardell Weber as well as Baby Boy Weber.
Tim was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, February 28, 1950. In 1961, the family moved to Topeka, Kansas, where Tim attended Topeka High School, followed by attending Kansas State University, majoring in Construction Engineering. While at Kansas State, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
In 1972, Tim married his former wife, Vicky Tatro, and moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he began a long tenure with H-E-B Grocery Company. Here he excelled in the construction piece of the business. After living in San Antonio
several years, Tim & Vicky settled in to a home they built in Fair Oaks Ranch, where then Kate and Molly came along to complete their family.
In later years, while employed with Better Built Construction, Tim resided in Kerrville, Texas. Here, he was active in the church and being a witness for AA. Tim was proud of his sobriety and ministry for over 15 years.
In 2020 Tim moved to Granbury, Texas, to be closer to his girls and grandchildren. While here, he was able to remain in the construction business with Better Built Construction. When his health began to decline, Tim moved into his final home in Fort Worth, at Overture Ridgmar Apartments.
Tim enjoyed many outdoor activities. While living in Fair Oaks Ranch, he played competitive tennis at the club. Hunting was also a favorite pastime. With friends, he partnered in hunting leases where he enjoyed not only the sport, but also the comradeship of friendship. His yearly pheasant hunting trip to Kansas and/or Nebraska, with his family and friends, was especially a favorite time for him.
Tim's greatest pride was his grandchildren. He attended games, competitions, recognitions, with joy and enthusiasm. He was always available to carpool, babysit, and shuttle them here and there. His walls were filled with photos from many of those special memories. He supported their choices and would only offer advice when asked. They loved his humor and appreciated his generosity on birthdays and holidays.
Tim will be missed by his family and friends. His sincere affection for his family and kindness towards his friends will remain in all our hearts.
