Timothy M. Young, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 76 in Huber Heights, Ohio. Born on March 23, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, Timothy was a warm-hearted soul known for his kindness and generosity.
Tim had a fulfilling career at Cargill in Dayton, where he forged many lifelong friendships with his coworkers, embracing the camaraderie that the workplace offered. His colleagues fondly remember him not only for his dedication but also for the generous heart with which he conducted himself daily. Whether helping a friend in need or lending a hand to a stranger, Tim was always ready to do anything for anyone.
Beyond his professional life, Tim was deeply passionate about riding motorcycles and was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns, often found cheering them on with the same fervor and loyalty he extended to those he loved. His love for adventure and life was evident in every ride and game, reflecting a spirit that inspired others.
Tim is survived by his three loving siblings: Melody (Steve) Layton, Mary (Robert) Alfred, and Mark (Andrea) Alfred. Together they will cherish the memories of their beloved brother, whose laughter, warmth, and generosity will forever be imprinted in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron (Marilyn) Young and Betty Alfred, and his brother, Myron "Butch" Willard, who welcomed him with open arms in the embrace of eternity.
Tim’s legacy of kindness, his zest for life, and his unwavering love for his family will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. In every approximate turn of the handlebar and each thrilling play on the football field, his spirit will remain alive in the hearts of those he touched, forever a reminder of what it means to live with love and generosity.
Memorial Gathering will be held from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel. Celebration of Life will be officiated at 6:00 pm following the gathering. Guests are encouraged to dress casual or in Cleveland Browns colors. He will be laid to rest at Willow View Cemetery alongside family.
