As family and friends gather to celebrate her vibrant life, they will carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and hard work in their hearts.

Tina Marie Box Basaldu, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on March 4, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on May 20, 1964, in Fort Worth, Tina was known for her indomitable spirit and unwavering dedication to her family.

Throughout her life, Tina was admired for her beautiful personality, her sense of humor, and her remarkable work ethic. A talented cook, she took great pride in preparing meals for her loved ones and always ensured that her home was a place of comfort and warmth. Known as a "huge clean freak," her attention to detail and care for her living space reflected her desire to provide a nurturing environment for her children and grandchildren. She was a mother who did whatever it took to take care of her children.

Tina is survived by her daughters, Andra and husband, George Barajas and Vanessa Basaldu, son, JoseCruz Basaldu; grandchildren Eulalio Vargas, Jose Cruz Basaldu, Xavier Vargas, Astrid Paige Vargas, Gavin Parker Vargas, and Phoenix Pierce Basaldu, her nieces, Lidia and Yvonne, numerous great nieces and nephews, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless close friends who will remember her warmth and kindness.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, James Box and Alicia Day, her brother Baby Joe Gonzalez, and her grandparents Tomas and Francisca Sanchez, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins who have also left this world.
