Tina was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. Tina found enjoyment in gardening, Sunday rides, cooking her famous mac n cheese and apple pie. Above all, she cherished every moment with her children and grandchildren, embracing the deep and boundless love she felt for them.
Tina was a beloved staff member of the Addison Central School District, as the Middle School Administrative Assistant. For 32 years, she dedicated her life to supporting the young people of our community, impacting the lives of thousands of students who walked the halls at ACS. Her wit, attitude and compassion made her a favorite amongst the schools most adored and respected staff members. Tina was deeply devoted to her community and to the countless students whose lives she enriched and inspired.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Terwilliger, her father- and mother-in-law Irving and Marguerite Dickerson, and her beloved husband of 38 years, Donald Dickerson.
She is survived by her daughters Danielle (TJ) Hower of Erin, NY, Nicole (Adrian) Walker of Addison, NY, step-son Michael (Amy) Dickerson of Camillus, NY, grandchildren Emma and Seth Dickerson of Camillus, NY, Aayliah, Atreyu and Abel Walker of Addison, NY, and Madison Hower of Erin, NY plus many extended family members.
To honor Tina, please take a moment this spring, and plant a flower to help us remember how special she was to our community.
A small private memorial will be held for close friends and family. A Celebration of Life for Tina and Donald is planned for Saturday, February 15, 2025 between 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Tuscarora Baptist Church, 441 Cook Road, Addison, NY 14801.
