Tiny Barlow Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home and Event Center - Du Quoin on Mar. 6, 2026.
Today we say goodbye to a very good boy who spent 17 wonderful years perfecting the art of living the good life.
Small in size but huge in personality, he was a professional sunbather, a champion warm-vent napper, and a connoisseur of Burger King chicken nuggets. If there was a warm spot in the house, he found it. If there was a car ride happening, he was ready before the keys even jingled. And if Dad was around, it was automatically playtime.
He loved the simple things: going outside to sniff the world, riding in the car like he owned the road, stretching out in the sunshine like it was his personal spotlight, and curling up wherever the heat was warmest. He had a way of making ordinary moments feel special just by being there.
One of his favorite pastimes was curling up with Mom for a good nap while the latest TV show episodes played in the background. Whether the show was exciting, dramatic, or funny, he was mostly there for the cozy blanket, the warmth, and the chance to snooze beside his favorite person. Those quiet moments on the couch became some of the sweetest memories.
Though he looked very dapper in his bow tie, he didn't need fancy clothes to steal hearts. His big eyes, tiny paws, and loyal little spirit did that all on their own.
On March 3rd, 2026, he peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving behind a home that feels a little quieter and a family that loved him more than words can say.
For 17 years he was a companion, a tiny shadow, a road-trip buddy, a sunshine chaser, a professional couch napper, and one very, very good boy. He was preceded in passing by his beloved son, Buddy, and his best friend, Diamond. We imagine a joyful reunion happening somewhere warm and sunny, with plenty of soft blankets and unlimited chicken nuggets.
He will always be remembered, always be loved, and always hold a warm little spot in our hearts - just like the vents he loved so much.
Run free, sweet boy. The sun is always shining where you are .
