Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette "Sis" Burroughs-Boals will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, September 28, 2025 in the Gregory's Chapel Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 PM until service time at the church.
Mrs. Burroughs-Boals, a member of Mt. Zion Church in Medina, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Burroughs; parents, Woodrow and Mamie Katherine Blurton; and a brother, Bill Blurton.
Mrs. Burroughs-Boals is survived by her husband, Carey Boals; two sons, Mike Burroughs and Randy Burroughs; a step-son, Bryant Boals; a grandson, Steele Burroughs; two step-grandchildren, Cole Hickerson and Hannah Hickerson; a great granddaughter, Lelia Burroughs; a brother, LeRoy "Buddy" Blurton (Linda); and a step-son-in-law, Mark Hickerson.

We are so sorry to hear about Sis´s passing. She was a wonderful outgoing lady who always made us feel loved. Her home was always open to us when we pastored Gregory´s Chapel. Our condolences go out to her family & friends.
