Graveside services for Mrs. Patricia Dianne Tibbs, age 77, will be held at 11 AM on Monday, September 29, 2025 in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Tibbs, a retired lab technician for Humboldt Utilities and member of East Union Baptist Church, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Belton Ray and Margie LaRue McDaniel; a son, Bryan Timothy Griggs; and a sister, Barbara Ann Perry.
Mrs. Tibbs is survived by her husband, Hubert M. Tibbs Jr.; two daughters, Misty Hall (Jeff) and Jennifer Cupples (Scott); a sister, Teresia Humphrey; nine grandchildren, Hillary Nalley, Heather Gordon, Ben Griggs, Josh Vinson, Bryan Vinson, Kara Knox, Jacob Cupples, Mia Hall and Ian Hall; and ten great grandchildren.
Mrs. Tibbs loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, fiercely. She also made the best chicken and dumplins in West Tennessee.
