TOBIN DEAN "TOBY" TURNER

TOBIN (TOBY) DEAN TURNER Tobin (Toby) Dean Turner, aged 55, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. Born on October 1, 1968, in El Dorado, Kansas, to Richard and Faye Turner, Toby was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend who left an indelible mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him, thanks to his humor, kindness, warmth, and generosity. His absence will be deeply felt by family, friends, and all who were touched by his presence. Tobin D. Turner graduated from Flinthills High School in 1987 and seamlessly transitioned into the workforce as a skilled carpenter/painter. Over the course of his career in the construction and maintenance trades, he made substantial contributions and garnered the respect of colleagues, dedicating over two decades of service to Butler Community College. Passionate about fly fishing, hunting, and coaching, Toby found joy in these pursuits throughout his life. His mastery of the art of fly fishing reflected his love for the sport. A dedicated coach, he invested time in guiding and mentoring others, coaching football and wrestling at Flinthills High and Middle Schools. A celebration of Toby's life is scheduled for April 6, 2024, at a location to be determined. Friends and family are warmly invited to attend and share their cherished memories of Tobin. The family expresses sincere gratitude for the support and love extended during this challenging time.
