Troy "Toby", "Uncle T" Baker, 61, beloved son, brother and uncle, of Granbury, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, November 4, 2024.
A memorial service celebrating Toby's life will be held Saturday November 16th at 12:00 PM at Opendoor Church, 301 S. Dobson St, Burleson, Texas 76028
Following the service, we will gather for lunch at a location TBD in the Burleson area.
Toby was born September 3, 1963, in Mildenhall, United Kingdom to Tommy and Lesley Baker. Even though he was born across the pond, he was a true Texan and grew up in Burleson. He worked at the Post Office in Fort Worth and Benbrook for over 30 years prior to his retirement. His passions were fishing, playing poker and dominos and he loved the Cowboys. Most of all, Toby loved life and loved spending time with his family and friends. Toby is survived by his parents, Tommy and Lesley Baker, brothers, Mark and sister-in-law Veleva Baker and Tommy Jr. and sister-in-law Donna Baker; by his niece and nephew, Adam and Hannah Baker, Uncle Doug and Aunt Colleen Baker, Aunt Tass and Uncle Lewis Trusty, many cousins and extended family.

Troy was solid as stone. Good friend, great poker player. I knew Troy a long time and this world is going to miss him. I´m just sad to see we´ve lost such a good man. Rest easy and in peace.
