Todd M. Frisch, 51, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The son of Joe Frisch and Cindy (Matuszak) Diederich was born March 23, 1974, in Green Bay.
On November 7, 1998, Todd married Lisa (Halford) Frisch. They shared over 20 years together, raising two children of their own and lovingly helping raise Lisa's two older children.
Todd worked for the City of Green Bay for 15 years and took great pride in his work, especially in winning the American Public Works Association Snowplow Roadeo two years in a row - a memory he loved to talk about with a smile. His true passion, though, was farming. Todd was happiest when he was out on the land doing what he loved most. The work gave him a deep sense of purpose and peace. He worked for Seth's Crops and Shop before finding his dream job at Green Valley Dairy/Jacobs Brothers, where he enjoyed doing custom field work.
Todd had a big heart and a love for the simple things in life and valued the time spent with the people he cared about. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and especially his annual trips to Minocqua. He loved cheering on the Packers and Brewers and was proud to have recently become a Badgers basketball season ticket holder.
He also had a true gift for cooking and was known for his famous Booyah made from Grandpa Roy's recipe - a tradition he kept alive with pride. Several other ongoing traditions included making meals for deer camp, hosting family holiday gatherings, competing in the Halford's Smoke-Off, and preparing made-to-order breakfasts during special occasions. Todd's cooking was more than a meal; it was one of the many ways he showed love to others. He was always told to open his own restaurant.
More than anything, Todd loved his kids and grandkids - they were his greatest joy. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for the land, his laughter, his generous spirit, and the way he always put his family first. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will stay with us always.
Todd is survived by his two children: Connor and Callie Frisch; their mother, Lisa Frisch; two stepchildren: Caitlin Maloney and Christopher (Ana) Maloney; his mother, Cindy (Rob) Diederich; father, Joe (Robyn) Frisch; granddaughters: Emmy and Eva; grandson, Mason; godchild, Tucker Frisch; brothers: Travis "Grub" Frisch (special friend, Amber), Tim Frisch (special friend, Breann), and Troy (Tammy) Frisch; stepsister, Nicole Jacobson; paternal grandmother, Pat Frisch; maternal grandfather, Norb Matuszak; step-grandmother, Joyce Diederich; step-grandfather, Ralph (Debbie) Diederich; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cameryn Jo; paternal grandfather, Roy Frisch; maternal grandmother, Joyce Matuszak; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Margaret "Em" Bjorklund; stepbrother, Kurt Goyen; and cousin, Lisa Fischer.
Friends and family are invited to gather with family at Peace Lutheran Church, 1954 County Rd. U, Green Bay, on Monday, November 17, from 1–4 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 4 p.m. with Pastor Stuart Dornfeld officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Mill Center Cemetery, Pittsfield.
The family respectfully asks that no flowers be sent and would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Brown County Sheriff's Department for their kindness and care.
