Todd Edward Gauster passed away surrounded by loved ones on October 15th, 2025, at the age of 67 in Lake Elmo, MN. He was born in St. Paul, MN on May 6, 1958, to Gerald and Lorraine Gauster.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at All Saints Lutheran Church. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service. Luncheon to follow.
Todd will be laid to rest privately at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, where he will receive military honors.
Todd was a devoted husband to Sherry (Turbenson) Gauster for 47 years. He was a loving father to Ryan and Brandon. He will be remembered for his humor, kindness, and dedication to family.
After graduating from Washington High School in St. Paul, he joined the Army and was stationed in Germany. During his time in Germany, he married Sherry. After they returned from Germany, Todd worked at Schmidt Brewery for 18 years. Todd eventually retired from St. Paul Schools in 2020.
Todd was a passionate outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved his grandchildren deeply.
Todd is survived by his wife, Sherry; sons, Ryan (Jessie) and Brandon (Alison); grandchildren, Elliot, Morgan, Brody, and Addison; siblings, Steve, Jerry (Colleen), Judy (Tom), and Cheri; sister-in-law, Vicky. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Todd is preceded in death by his parents.
He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
