To the Lasky Family I am with Great sadness to hear about Todd and his loss of Life, I had been talking with Todd since March 3rd 2018 he was searching for an 1988 Skidoo Formula plus 521. He wanted to pay tribute to his dad he told me by restoring a sled he once raced. a guy that i sent him to had one and he was going to buy it in Wisonsin. His name was Mike Benoy then he wanted mine as well. I had last talked with Todd late November 17th in the am hours. I kept asking how he was doing never heard back until the guy that was selling him the sled told me about his Passing.
Its Truly hard to grasp as well still in Shock tonight when i found out at 7pm. Me and Todd had the same interest i was an paid on call Volunteer Fire Fighter for 12 Years until i came down with Chemical Asthma from diesel exhaust. I will carry Todd in my memories for an life Time i am almost 42 years old, i too enjoy working on snowmobiles and repairing things a lot and i too became an fire fighter from September 1st 2001 thru September 6th 2012 at the age of 35 i had to Retire from it. I almost died from an 118 heat index field fire on July 7th 2012 my Blood pressure was 77/58 i am lucky to be here still.
May you all Find comfort , love, strength in our heavenly Father in this time of sorrow i am so glad i was able to get to talk with him and trying to help him find that sled he wanted. When he did he was so happy and excited. Its to bad you all could buy that sled from Mike Benoy and finish paying tribute to him and his dad like he wanted. I have family in Duluth MN named Schempf last name i am in Jackson Michigan.
