Todd G. Peterson, 63 of Middle River, MN passed away November 10, 2024 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND following a short battle with lung cancer.
Todd Gordon Peterson was born July 7, 1961 to Gordon & LuAnn Peterson. He grew up in Middle River and was a graduate of Middle River High School class of 1979.
On August 29, 1981 he was united in marriage to Colleen Anderson. To this union four children were born: Benjamin, Jeremy, Danielle and Jessica.
He held various jobs throughout his lifetime. Todd was a hard worker. Todd was always willing to help anyone at any time with any project. Todd enjoyed the outdoor life, especially hunting, fishing and riding & breaking horses. He had a love for all animals whether domestic or wild. His loyal companions, Daisy and Lars, will miss him greatly.
Todd looked at the bright, humorous side of life. He always had an entertaining story to tell about his many life adventures. His generous heart led to many life-long friendships.
Todd is survived by special friend Karen Larson. His children: Ben (Stephanie) Peterson; Jeremy (Angie) Peterson; Danielle (Bob) Riske and Jessica (Patrick) Childs. Grandchildren: Hannah & Everett Peterson; Maggie & Vivian Peterson; Asher & Declan Riske and Archie & Nelli Childs. Siblings: Donna Peterson (Ethel Erickson); Troy (Joni) Peterson; Trent Peterson; Darla Blatz and Chad Peterson. Along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
Preceded in death by Grandparents Frank & Alma Smith and Cora & Ernest Peterson; Parents Gordon & LuAnn Peterson; brother-in-law Aaron Blatz.
Per Todd's request there will not be a funeral service. His wish is to have his ashes spread at Lake of the Woods.
