Obituary of Todd Michael Sullivan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Todd Sullivan on August 25, 2025, at the age of 62. Todd was born on September 16, 1962 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota to Calvin and Susanne (Simons) Sullivan. He lived in Brooklyn Center throughout his childhood.

Todd graduated from Brooklyn Center Junior/Senior High School in 1980. He then joined the Air Force and was stationed at Bitburg Air Base in Germany. After he left the Air Force, Todd received his CDL and spent his career working in the transportation industry.

In 1986, Todd married Carol Enghusen. Todd and Carol went on to have four sons; Christian, Matthew, James, and Benjamin.

Todd enjoyed teaching his children to fish, ride snowmobiles, drive a boat, etc. He also taught them all things mechanical. There wasn't much that he couldn't fix and he was always available to help his sons, extended family, along with friends, and acquaintances.

Todd has six grandchildren; Tattum, Sadie, Beau, Emma, Calvin, and Bella. He enjoyed being a grandfather and he expressed his sadness that he will miss watching them grow up.

Todd is survived by his wife Carol; his sons; Christian, Matthew and wife Natasha, James and husband Phi, Benjamin and fiancee Alyssa; brother, Thomas and wife Ann; sister, Kari; along with many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, Calvin and Susanne Sullivan; mother and father-in-law, Donald and Rose Enghusen; brother, Steven Sullivan; nephew, Bradly Sullivan; granddaughter, Emma Sullivan; and his fur babies Cooper and Gracie.

The family wishes to thank the St. Croix Hospice in Princeton for their dedicated care, kindness and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Elk River, Minnesota.

The family kindly requests no flowers, please.

Although Todd is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.
