Todd Blayne Watson

Todd Blayne Watson, the son of Mike and Michelle (Wekony) Watson was born October 31, 2020 in Sheldon, IA, but was raised in Spencer, IA.

Todd enjoyed watching Koko the Monkey, car crash videos, Hot Wheels, especially Corvettes, snuggling on the couch with his brother Jayden watching tv, playing hide-and-seek with his brother Lyle, helping his dad work on the car, helping his mom in the kitchen, helping others, and making sure everyone else was ok. Even after his death, he helped save the lives of 4 people with his organ donation, including 2 children. His favorite color was red.

Todd passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 7, 2025 at the age of 4 at the Gillette Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, MN. He was preceded in death by an aunt, Vicky Pettit, great-grandma’s Janice Wekony and Judy Holt, and great-grandpa’s Frank Wekony, Herby and Eugene.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Mike and Michelle Watson; 2 brothers, Jayden and Lyle; maternal grandparents, Linda and William Wekony; paternal grandparents, Todd (Sianna Johnson) Watson; 2 aunts, Stephanie Watson and Nichole (Andrew) Rubino; cousins, James and Kimi Webster, Kam and Kimi; special friends, Liz Brown, Derrick VonEhwegen, Jeremy VanRokel, Holly Urban, and LeRoy Galicia; other relatives; and many friends.
