Tom was a friend and role model for me when our family moved to Sturgis in the fall of 1973, Tom and Jane were the first to befriend our family. Tom influenced me in my coaching and teaching career by his professionalism and positive attitude. When I was inducted into my first Hall of Fame, I made my first call to Tom. He always asked my wife, Linda, if she was still uncountable, with a laugh. Answer was always, "yes." When my daughter, Christy, heard of his passing, she said,"he was truly a nice guy." We have lost a great friend, husband, father and grandfather. We will miss you. Cal Corey

Tom Davis was a welcoming man. At church he'd see across the hall, smile, and walk over to me for conversation. A memory: one time in a local coffee shop, his family walked in, he saw us, and motioned us to come sit with his family. Welcoming!

The Davis family has lost its loving and caring patriarch. "Coach" touched a lot of
lives over his career. What a kind and thoughtful man he was. We are so glad we got to know him and the Davis family through Trinity Lutheran church. He will be missed and remembered.
