Tom Nienow Obituary
Tom was born on June 22, 1956, to Ruben and Dorothy (Arvidson) Nienow in Minot, ND. He was raised in Minot and on the family farmstead, southwest of town in Rolling Green Township. He attended Minot Public Schools, graduating in 1974 from Minot High School.
Following graduation, Tom continued working on the Nienow farm, and following the passing of his father, Tom took over the farming operations with his brother David, who took over Nienow Construction. The two of them stayed busy farming, raising cattle and buffalo, and whatever other kind of construction project they could get their hands on. Together, they owned and operated Nienow Construction until David's passing in 2022.
Tom is survived by:
a niece, Elyse Nienow; two sisters: Suellen Nienow, and Penne Nienow; cousin Kelly (Shannon) Samson; as well as several other distant relatives.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and brother David.
Visitation: Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 3-5 at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot
Funeral Service: Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11 at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
