Tommaso Verga Obituary
He was a hardworking longshoreman with the ILA for over 40 years.
Tommaso was married for 52 years to his wife Chiara. He's survived by his wife, daughter Rosa, son in law Carmelo, and his three grandsons, Antonio, Tommaso and Carmelo.
Tommaso will be greatly missed by family and friends. As he was a kind and loving soul. He was a true gentleman.
May he Rest in eternal peace!
The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at St. Clare Church located at 110 Nelson Ave Staten Island, New York 10308. entombment will follow in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
