Tommy Ray Beard

Tommy Ray Beard passed peacefully in the early morning of January 24th of 2026, at the age of 62.
Tommy was born October 16, 1963, to his late father and mother. John Harding Beard and Dorothy R.C. Moore.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Joan Louise Casteel, Gloria Ann Mills, Verna Kay Sanders, and Lenora Nivens.
In the life of Tommy Ray Beard, there were many things we need to remember him by, but most importantly we start with the love he had for his children and grandchildren. His oldest Carolyn Schwab and husband Brian and their 3 children Breanna, Triston and Haley. His second oldest Amanda McBride and husband Chris and their son Dylon. His youngest Justin Beard and his children Jayden, Julius, Aaliyah and Sophia, and his great grandson Armani. Though Tommy's children were his whole heart, he loved his entire family including his siblings Maxine Keller, John Beard, Tony Beard, and Elaine Morris and many nieces and nephews. He is also remembered for his passion and love for his life's work of brick laying, his passion for a good game of pool and love of fishing on the lake all day. Where we can find comfort in this time is knowing that his relationship with God was as strong as ever, we can rejoice in the fact that Tommy will be walking the path of the lord with his mother.
The viewing for Tommy will be held at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 East, in Granbury on Thursday 29th at 2pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3pm, Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
