Tommy Jones Obituary
Tommy Lee Jones, 69, of Leesburg, died Thursday, July 4, 2024 at his residence.
His memorial service will be Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home with Brother Bobby Paul officiating.
Born in Albany, Tommy had lived in Lee County for most of his life. He was retired from Another Plumbing Company. After his retirement he starting teaching and working with his grandsons show them the ins and outs to the trade. He loved to fish, watch Lee County or UGA play football and raising his chickens.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-two years, Connie Stroud Jones, son, Tommy Clinton Jones (Tonya), grandsons, Tommy Dylan Jones, Devon Clinton Jones, sisters, Marleene Chapman (Mike), Marsha Jones, brothers, Buddy Jones, Randy Jones (Denise), several nieces and nephews and his Stroud family.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
