Tommy E. Nutt, 76, of Fordyce passed away December 14, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born November 10, 1949 to the late James Emmett and Elva Maxine Nutt.
Tommy proudly served in the Arkansas Army National Guard for 34 years. He loved traveling the world with his wife and family, going to the beach, woodworking, fishing, hunting, camping, canoeing the Buffalo River, and watching and being involved in all of their grandkids’ sports and activities for the last 28 years. He absolutely loved watching old football tapes from the 1990-93 Redbug football teams.
Tommy was an active member of Zion Baptist Church. Over the years he has served as deacon, Sunday School teacher, song leader, and helped with youth programs.
Other than his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Nutt.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 56 years, the love of his life, Beverly Spears Nutt; his daughter, Tammy Grayson and her husband Taylor of Star City; son Toby and his wife Sara of Alma; eight grandchildren, Jordan Grace and her husband Sawyer of Benton, LA; Ally Grayson of Star City, Isabella Nutt of Conway, Ty Grayson of Star City, Julia Nutt of Alma, Tanner Grayson of Star City, and Colton and Tristan Nutt of Alma; a sister, Elva Dean Walker of Fordyce and a brother, Ricky Nutt of Curtis.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8: 00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Smith officiating.
