Mr. Tommy Thomas Sr., a beloved father and grandfather, peacefully passed away on October 17, 2024, at the wonderful age of 81. He was born on February 26, 1943, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Tommy was the oldest son of Marshall and Dorthy Roberts Thomas, along with his brothers, Larry Thomas, David Vance, Alan Vance, and youngest sibling, Julia Butler Clark, of Bob and Dorthy Butler.

Tommy’s life was marked by his deep love for his children, Elaine Thomas, Tommy Thomas Jr. and his wife Tammy T., Larry Glenn Thomas, Mike Doles and his wife Sharon, Tim Doles, David Doles, Sandy Doles Robinson and her husband Norman, children of the beloved Barbara Doles Thomas.

Tommy was an avid hunter and professional fishing guide on Lake Fork, Texas, where he spent many hours of laughter and teasing with his wife, Betty H. Thomas, who preceded him in death on April 4, 2021.

Tommy retired a master plumber of Mt. Pleasant School District before spending his remaining years with family in Georgia. His Faith never waivered nor his membership change from Hepsibah Baptist Church in Winnsboro, Texas.

Tommy leaves behind a legacy of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at a later date in Winnsboro, Texas.
