Tommy Odell Williams, Jr. was born in Marshall, Texas, on October 14, 1957, to Joyce Marie Carr, who resides in Compton, California, and the late Tommie Odell Williams, Sr.
Tommy was married to Betty McDuffie, and two children came from this union before they later divorced. Tommy graduated from Los Angeles High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. Following his service, he attended truck driving school and began a career driving 18-wheeler trucks.
Along with his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by a special person in his life, Elizabeth Bernadette Lewis.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two children: Shakeeta L. Williams and Tobias D. Williams (Darnesia); four sisters: Rosalind Denise Williams, Yolanda Williams (El Toro), Trudy Peteet (Charles), and Sarita Walker (LaMar); and one brother: Tony Evans-Williams. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Kalil, Kayla, Maleeah Williams, and Ja’Miyah McKoy.
Tommy is also survived by nieces and nephews: Cronicas Williams, Antoine Hamilton (Tia), Victoria Skannel, Brittany Peteet (Kenny), Shavonna Walker (Bryant), Devon Walker, and Tony Jr.
