On Sunday, January 29th, 2023, the Lord called Tommy "Tom" Joe Yeley, age 62, to his heavenly home.
Mr. Yeley was born November 4th, 1960, in Torrance, California, the son of Tom A. Yeley and Donna (Spencer) Yeley. Tom grew up in Redondo Beach and Inglewood, California where he graduated from Aviation High School in 1979. Tom grew up playing little league baseball with his brother Bobby, with his father coaching and umpiring games and his mother as President of the little league for many years.
Tom grew up with an active family in which he treasured many memories often with the Yeley, Breitenbucher, and Kelly families as they had family vacations, holidays, and most weekends together throughout the years. During his teenage years Tom was in a band and it was during this time he discovered his love for music and playing the guitar.
Tom was a devoted and loving father the two sons, Thomas Jacob Yeley and Joshua Edward Yeley, that he had with their mother Laurie Kelly. Tom worked for companies Web and Steel Case in California for many years before moving to Texas in 1994 with his sons and wife Barbara Bunting, where he would spend over 20 years in the Pawn Broker business with Denison Pawn and Victory Music where he met many friends and loved ones who cherished his friendship.
On June 17th, 2017, Tom married the love of his life Donna (Cryer) Yeley in Pottsboro, Tx and moved to Glenpool, Oklahoma where they would make a fun and joyful life together with their dogs Marley, Bella, and Rebel. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know and love him.
Mr. Yeley leaves behind his beloved family: wife, Donna Yeley of Glenpool, Oklahoma; Sons, Jake Yeley and Josh Yeley of Denison, Texas; Grandchildren, Maci Yeley of Denison, Texas; Chloe Ellis, Korban Land, Kayli Brady of Sherman, Texas; sister, Lorie Yeley of California; Brother, Bobby Yeley and wife, Diana of Stockton, California; Stepchildren; Jeremy Cryer and Shannon Cryer of Glenpool, Oklahoma.
