Toni Henderson Obituary
Published by Legacy on Jun. 27, 2025.
Toni Sue Lewis-Henderson was born on February 2, 1958 to Kenneth Rocky Lewis and Nellie Gray. She was the 6th of 10 children. She married Virgil "Tic" Henderson on May 14, 1977, and according to him, was a beautiful blue bird at the tender age of 17. One of her favorite memories was when she met Tic on Eagle Street in Frazer, MT on September 19, 1976. Tic and Toni celebrated 50 years of marriage this year, and was madly in love for all of it. They shared a beautiful daughter, Lexi Henderson, that she was always proud of. Lexi gave her the best gift in life, four beautiful grandchildren, one adopted grandson and one great grandchild. Kelsi, Tyler, Aaron Jr, Taile, Maverick and Weston were the joy of her life.
Toni loved her big family and helped raise some of her nieces and nephews as her own. She had the biggest heart and the best humor. She could make anyone laugh into tears. Her humor will be sorely missed as she brought the family together as one. Toni had a lot of good qualities including cooking, sewing, beading regalia and moccasins. She was a cowgirl all around who like to smoke and gamble, and she never missed the chance to tease and laugh with family. She loved to play Bingo with Grandma Nellie, and that's probably the first thing they did together when she reached the big camp. Her lucky numbers were 10, 19, 9, 18, 16, 15 and 14.
Some of Toni's favorite things included visiting with Harold and Anna, driving through parker canyon when it was green, and going to Red Bottom Powwow. Her favorite food was macaroni and commod cheese, pork'n beans, spam, fried potatoes, enchiladas, Spanish rice, & refried beans, liver and onions with lots of ketchup and potato salad. She especially loved Resa's homemade lasagna. Her birthday dinner was Banana Cream Pie, mashed potatoes & meat gravy, green beans and coffee with hazelnut creamer. She loved her big porch and the beautiful views. Toni loved to be home and enjoyed hanging pictures in her house. Her favorite song was Maggie May by Rod Stewart and All Hank Williams songs. Her favorite color was orange and her favorite flowers were orange roses.
Toni is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Rocky Lewis and Nellie Gray, her stepdad Donald "Duck" Clark, her sisters Gail Wetsit and Jeanette Gow.
