Tonia Cheryl Chapman Miller

Mrs. Tonia was like a second mother to me, or older sister. She was definitely a real one... a true friend who kept everyone laughing & smiling. I worked with her at Staybridge Suites for 5 years & I would say that she probably got the most (good) comment cards out everyone who had worked there, because everybody who met Mrs. Tonia immediately fell in love with her & her uplifting spirit. Her friendliness & warm personality was contagious & made me want to be more like her. We weren't just coworkers we were really good friends too. We hung out with each other outside of work, she met my family & I met her family as well, we talked on the phone all the time, and even used to prank call one another, which was so much fun & very hilarious. She was easy to talk to, easy to let your guard down & be yourself around. She would let you cry on her shoulder while giving you sound advice & support, but of course, would joke a little to make you laugh & smile again. I was always happy to go into work when I knew she would be working because it felt like a second home when she was there. She was like home to me. It has been a while since I last saw her, but we were still in communication with each other from time to time. I hate that I will not get the chance to see her face nor hear her voice again, but I take solace in knowing that she is at peace now & is no longer suffering. Our Father has her now, so I know she is being well taken care of.
Mrs. Tonia was very much loved & still is loved. She will be mourned, she will be missed, but never will she be forgotten & will remain in my heart until the end of days. I love you Mrs. Tonia & will see you again someday.
