Tonja Shane Hampton

Tonja Shane Miller Hampton, 58, Russellville, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Visitation will be on Monday, February 9, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with John Brock officiating.

Tonja was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. She was an avid lover of literature and the arts, photography, and music. However, her greatest love was her family. Her beautiful singing voice and infectious laughter will be remembered by all who were graced to be in her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and had the privilege to be loved by her. Tonja was preceded in death by her father, Billy R. Miller; mother, Wanda Willis Miller; grandmother, Phares Hester; grandparents, O'Neal and Beulah Willis.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick Wayne Hampton; daughter, Brandi Lynn Miller Croy Pennington and her husband Jesse Pennington; sister, Bridgett Johnson; grandchildren, Lily Shane Lucille Pennington, Willow Pennington, Patrick Pennington, and Oliver Pennington; and a host of extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Hampton, Jesse Pennington, Brady Johnson, and Bobby Leopard. Ricky Hester, Sam Johnson, Jimmy Croy, and Jake Higgs will serve as honorary pallbearers.
